Baby yoga is the use of various poses and positions to promote baby’s general health and wellbeing. The different postures and positions help provide flexibility, improve muscle tone, co-ordination
and body awareness. Baby yoga also promotes tummy time for babies and active play, Yoga
poses are practised to songs to develop baby’s sense of rhythm and help with their language development and communication between mother and baby. The release of endorphins in both mother and baby’s body can also help with relaxation and it's a great way for mums to start
doing some postnatal gentle exercises.
My Baby yoga classes are a perfect first class for you and your baby. Sessions incorporate stretches and poses, songs and rhymes, relaxation time and sensory play with parachutes, bubbles and light displays to name a few.
Please note - You and your baby must have your 6/8 wk postnatal check before attending the sessions
Baby yoga classes are every Monday at 11.15am, The Willow Centre, Cringleford
Drop in classes are £5 per session or you can book 6 classes for just £25
